I hold degrees in Advertising Art and Studio Art and have worked for small art studios and large advertising agencies both on staff and as a freelance artist. I have been teaching Commercial Art since 1997.

In my classes, students create both two and three-dimensional art in a variety of media while learning commercial art techniques, terminology and procedures. Senior year culminates in a certification test in Advertising and Design. Passing the test gives the student a vocational endorsement on his/her diploma and is necessary for an Advanced Regents Diploma.

In addition to teaching 10th and 12th grades, I am the layout advisor for the school newspaper, The Edison Light.
