"Welcome to the world of Web Design at Thomas A. Edison High School !"
Students learn HTML syntax for professional‚ accessible and organized websites using Dreamweaver‚ Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)‚ JavaScript and actionscript. Discover the wonders of animation with motion and shape tweening using Adobe Flash. Incorporate movie clip symbols that control sound‚ movement and interactive buttons. Students will work independently and in groups to design a variety of websites that include graphics created in Photoshop‚ Illustrator or Fireworks. The course culminates with an online electronic portfolio and two industries recognized Adobe Certified Associate certifications.
