Welcome to Edison!

Thomas A. Edison Career and Technical Education High School is a secondary school located in Jamaica, New York. Our school is one of the few public high schools in New York City that offers State Certified training programs as well as traditional college preparatory tracks. Edison has an enrollment of just over 2,800 students of diverse ethnic backgrounds, with a gender population of approximately 60% male and 40% female. Students at Edison take required courses during their freshman year, at the end of which they choose a C.T.E. track to pursue in grades 10 - 12. We have a variety of academic opportunities that will surely benefit you throughout your high school career!
